If your pedal car project needs other than the standard 6 1/2" or 7 1/2" tires, then this may be the perfect solution for you. To cut the rubber to the optimum length, we suggest wrapping the rubber around the wheel and cutting it slightly short (about ¼ inch) so that there will be some stretch when installed, keeping it tight on the wheel.For wheels larger than 8 inches in diameter, we suggest cutting the material about 3/8 to ½ inch shorter.
