We have three types of bulk rubber in the ¾ inch size.
The other two are 2005-P and 2005-T.
The 2005-S variety has a subtle tread form and is less expensive.
The 2005-P variety has a pronounced tread form and glues well.
The 2005-T variety has a cross section shape that provides an attractive sidewall edge, and it glues well. It has a talc coating that needs to be cleaned off, Armor All works best for this.
To cut the rubber to the optimum length, we suggest wrapping the rubber around the wheel and cutting it slightly short (about ¼ inch) so that there will be some stretch when installed, keeping it tight on the wheel.
For wheels larger than 8 inches in diameter, or if using the 2005-T variety, we suggest cutting the material about 3/8 to ½ inch shorter.Click here for the adhesive we recommend to cement the ends together Your entire pedal car parts order ships to the Continental U.S. lower 48 states for only $9.00!
